Daft Punk Release Music Video For “Instant Crush”; Cameos Julian Casablancas

Daft Punk have released a music video for “Instant Crush” taken from their Grammy Award nominated album ‘Random Access Memories’ just in time for the Christmas where punters can pick up the deluxe edition that includes 180 gram vinyl, hardcover photo book, a special edition collector’s vinyl and more.

The clip itself actually brings to life one of our favourite tracks on the album and the same cut that soundtracked our Daft Punk Wee Waa launch video. If mannequin love during a behind the scenes look at a  museum is your thing than the music video for “Instant Crush” is probably going to make your day. Hell it even features guest vocalist and Strokes leadman Julian Casabalancas as a British soldier swooned by a peasant girl as a love story unfolds.

He also manages to find himself dancing along under a spotlight in a very Daft Punk-esque setting although we only cop a tiny glimpse of the helmets. Still very cool.
