Moderat‘s sophomore album ‘II’, released earlier this year on Monkeytown Records, has been climbing the album sales charts across Europe since August: Top 10 in Germany, Top 40 in Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and number 73 in the UK – something neither Apparat nor Modeselektor have accomplished by themselves so far. Following news that electronic master Jon Hopkins will be remixing their newest single ‘Last Time’, techno minimalist Marcel Dettmann – who recently released his newest album as well – has taken on remix duties for one of their best album tunes ‘Bad Kingdom’.

It’ll be out on Modeselektor’s 50 Weapons imprint November 29 digitally and on vinyl, and while being a close friend of the duo’s, Dettmann is also one of the world’s best techno producers.  He’s stripped down the original, and made it a real rumbling roller. Big.
