17 years young Martix Garrix is currently reaping the reward from his mega-smash single ‘Animals’ hitting #1 on the UK, Hungary and Scotland as well as charting in the top 10 of many countries. It’s only a logical progression but also another sign of future success, or at least investment in Garrix that he’s officially signed with Scooter Braun Projects (SBP), the home of Justin Bieber, Arianna Grande and Psy. SBP announced the split world-wide management deal this week with MusicAllStars Management, sister company to Garrix’s current label Spinnin Records (Afrojack, Nicky Romero, Bingo Players).
“He doesn’t need to grow up too fast. We’re not into a sprint; it’s a marathon. It’s important for him to be spending time with his family, It’s not about how many shows we can book. That’s the long-term goal but we’re not in a rush to get there. Letting him still be a 17-year-old is important.” – SBP Agent Michael George Talking to Billboard
After signing the deal with SBP, Garrix is preparing for a two week US tour this February, with a run on singles soon to follow called ‘Wizard’.
