Is This the Worst DJ Bio Ever?

DJ Andy Whitby may be the most talented/successful/hardest/sickest DJ you’ve never heard of. If you’ve got the “thirst for tougher sounds” you should definitely check him out! His album “Girls Like It Hard” is apparently “S!ck as F*#k”! This of course is all according to the native Brit’s DJ bio, which boasts about his major accomplishments, yet fails to observe his DJ ranking of #1110. Top shelf.

Whether the bio was written by Mr. Whitby himself or his management team, this is a classic example of what not to write for any bio. Head over to DJ Guide for the full read, including the stream of hilarious comments. Whose keen for this dudes next sell-out Australian tour?

“In the last decade Andy Whitby has blazed a trail show stopping sets, jaw-dropping productions and numerous best-selling albums, contributing to him becoming one of the most popular and downloaded artists on the Hard Dance Music scene.

From sell-out tours of England, Australia, Canada, America and Spain to name just a few, he has become infamous for his love of technically-complex three deck mixing, gorgeous vocals and monstrous basslines; ensuring every mix is heavily layered with FX, chops, loops and Acapellas in a truly unique and exciting way.

The winner of Best DJ, Best Resident and Best Album numerous times at Trackitdown.net’s Hard Dance Awards, Whitby has also recently been made Hard Dance Music Editor for the World’s biggest clubbing magazine Mixmag reviewing the hottest new HDM tracks and albums available.

Hot on the heels of his AWsum brand, famed for its events at Ministry of Sound, Air in Birmingham and Hidden in London, Whitby has launched a new brand to cater for all those with a thirst for tougher sounds. HARD encapsulates many things; from Whitby’s monthly show The HARDKAST through to his ground-breaking HARDL!VE sets, performed on a range of FX units, remix decks and midi controllers.”

The only thing better is his voice, check out the early intro for his ‘Clubland: Summer Anthems’ as mixed by the man himself. Hard stuff Andy, hard.
