Speed-garage and bassline seamstress Hannah Wants, who’s Brimmingham blood has been boiling to the surface within the local UK circuit has announced a debut tour to Australia through January and February.

Most Australian cities will welcome Hannah with stops in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney – both at the Ivy and on the always killer Ship Faced cruise, as well as Brisbane. Melbourne looks to have missed this one but word has it, Tramp will pick up a set from her there.

Her slick production and support role of top-line artists such as SBTRKT, Oneman, Disclosure and Justin Martin prove she’s not a here-now, gone-tomorrow DJ and producer but a real deal, hard working superstar in the making.

In a recent interview with High On Beats Hannah shared the difficulties of a male dominated world and her insight into cutting through;

My advice is make sure you’re doing what you do for the right reasons and then simply don’t give up. I’ve been DJ’ing for ten years and for eight of those years, no one had a clue who I was. DJing has just always been my love and passion. Opportunities have ultimately landed my way over the years which I’ve taken and things have just kind of spiraled since 2010, I’d say.
