Following on from last weeks name and artwork tease comes a stream of Flight Facilities latest “Stand Still” featuring yet another relatively unknown vocalist – Micky Green.

To sum it up, you’re looking down the barrel of another hit from the Sydney dream team just in time for an Australian summer. Compared to past tracks from the FF bro’s “Stand Still” sets a different pace, helping change up their disco hats for a more indie feel with what seems like a tick-tock sample and finely tuned whistle. There is of course, a rummaging and rolling bassline to keep the funk heads happy.

Remixes are an interesting thought, we’d love to see the C90’s return or possibly even an Erol Alkan Rework. Surely, being settled on the Future Classic label will mean a surprise or two.

The single is released today with the full EP expected 9th December.
