Ed Bangers Busy P Shares His All-Time Favourite Electronic Records

Ed Banger boss Busy P has shared his favourite electronic albums with online/offline magazine Groove with more than a few surprises thrown in alongside classic records including Daft Punks ‘Human After All’, The Prodigy’s ‘Fat Of The Land’ and Siriusmos’ ‘Mosiak’.

Although we don’t often like ranting on about the good old days, it’s hard to deny that Pedro’s selection all looks back, rather than forward with only with only 5 of the 20 records placing post 2000, but those that do have honestly earned their spots – ahem, Jackson and His Computer Bands ‘Smash’ (2006).

Some of the older LP’s such as The Chemical Brothers ‘Exit Planet Dust’ (1995) and LFO ‘Frequencies’ (1991) should be mainstay listens for any diehard electronic music dance fans and worth a visit at least once a year to feel that buzz of nostalgia or add a better understanding of where it all really began.

For further schooling there are a stack of charts from veteran producers such as Steve Bug, Ali Schwarz of Tiefschwarz, Tim Sweeney and more.

Check out Busy P’s favourite electronic albums below or a recent shoot by Terry Richardson with the entire Ed Banger Records crew ahead of Feadz debut record on the label sometime in 2014.
