Some remixes have started to surface of Cosmin TRG‘s fabulous ‘Gordian’ album for Modeselektor‘s 50 Weapons earlier this year, and 50WEAPONSRMX08 has just been released featuring Legowelt’s remix of ‘Terminus Abrupt’ and ‘Noise Code’ reworked by Miles Against The Grain. Out digitally and on 12″ vinyl like most label releases, the two remixes take Cosmin to the darkside. Legowelt churns the breakbeat, flute and synth of ‘Terminus Abrupt’ into a hardcore-techno ace, while Miles (Demdike Stare) gives ‘Noise Code’ a beastly dub-techno overhaul for the fearless ravers.
