Another step away from the genre he rose through the of the U.K. ranks newly reinvented disco/house producer Skream has shut down his label imprint Disfigured Dubz via a single Twitter update, not long after announcing a new label is on the cards.

Founded in 2007 with Skream/Cluekid collab  ‘Sandsnake’ it’s first release the imprint hasn’t made a single drop so far this year so for many the shut down is no surprise. Shutting up shop after five years of releases from the likes of Silkie, 12 Planet, Echo Park and Digital Mystikz  amongst a slew of others – R.I.P.

Straight Out of Croydon Oliver Jones takes another step forward in his new chosen direction as Dubstep takes another into post maturity. What was your favourite Disfigured Dubz release?
