He’s back again, young buck xxyyxx has already been announced for the national Laneway Festival alongside Cashmere Cat, Four Tet, Danny Brown and more but recently locked in two club shows thanks to good friends Astral People.

It’ll be the usual states that get the goods with a show in Melbourne Feb 4th at The Corner and Sydney Feb 6th with special guest Wave Racer who features in our first and free compilation – Stoney Roads Volume One alongside Yahtzel, Cosmo’s Midnight and LDRU.

Other states will have grab mums credit card and get along to the Laneway festival where they can catch the slo-mo crooner crafting jams to other indie-upstarts.

Real name Marcel Everett resides in the ‘old’ state of Florida while his music resonates just the opposite –  youth, drugs and freedom, most well shown in his stand out single “About You” that clocked a cool 12+ million views on Youtube and was directed by Jeffrey Vash, a fellow young creative out of Austin, Texas. Most of his works are heavily sampled and look back to early 90’s RnB but twisted for now with pitched vocals and chopped beats.
