Electro pioneers The Presets are working on a one off project that will reflect on ten years of hit making. The unique project that has been spearheaded by J&B Whiskey offers you not only a brand new mash up but also the opportunity to have the usually festival headline act perform at your college or university!
The Sydney based Kim Moyes and Julian Hamilton have created a brand new mash-up of sonic goodness that looks back over The Presets discography that has spanned for over a decade – from the kaleidoscopic anthems from ‘Apocalypso’ to the cultivated, prismatic sounds of ‘Pacifica’.
“Going through a decade of music was like seeing many moments of our career flash before our eyes. We’ve always enjoyed new and innovative ways to approach our music, and re-working a number of tracks into this brand new mash-up was a really fun experience.”
What can we expect? From the relentless baseline of “My People”, to the grinding chorus of “Are You The One”, the track has been said to mash up these elements seamlessly taking the listener on a journey that is sure to draw some spine tingling nostalgia.
The Presets’ J&B Mash-Up track will be available from today for exclusive streaming through the J&B Australia Facebook page where Presets fans will also have a unique opportunity to enter a competition to win an end of semester gig from the band
