Innamind Recordings have just launched themselves to stratospheric levels with their latest release as they feature the devastating production skills of Thelem and the blistering flows of Mancunian mic specialist T Man for IMRV007. Having released on Kryptic Minds‘ Osiris Music and having teared up gigs from LA to Croatia recently, Thelem‘s work with one of Manchester’s most notorious MCs on ‘Bring Me Down’ lays down tempered steely bassline pressure and neck-break skank percussion, before T Man jumps on with his grime-laden ruffneck lyrics. Having already caused substantial hype before its release yesterday, the label has paired the A-side with an equally serious flip in ‘False Imprint’, a beat on an otherworldly, deep space purple futurism tip.
