Easily one of the biggest names in recent dnb, Sub Focus has just put out his second album after what seems like a very short 4 years since his last. Out on his regular home Ram Records after his ‘Turn It Around‘ EP last week, the album – although perhaps being unsurprising and highly commercial – is an extremely enjoyable 13-track journey through drum & bass, dubstep, 130bpm territory on several occasions and even garage. With successful collaborations with Alex Clare, Alice Gold, MNEK, Jaydelldee, Alpines, Foxes, Kenzie May, Culture Shock, TC and even Bloc Party’s Kele, the album varies from straight-up dnb in ‘Turn It Around’ (personal fave), to gross dubstep in ‘Falling Down’ and generic EDM drops in ‘Turn Back Time’ to a surprising UK garage twist in ‘Close’.

Yet while there are some moments of unpopularity, the record as a whole is incredibly diverse and shows why Sub Focus remains at the top of the game. Check out a couple of tunes below and head over to iTunes to hear the rest.
