Funny man Ryan Hemsworth, the ultimate taker of hotel selfies will drop his debut LP ‘Guilt Trips’ October 21st. Those too impatient to wait until Monday can now cop a stream over on Pitchfork Advance.
The album strays from any typical ‘EDM’ ideas and leans heavily towards instrumental based RnB and rougher vocal framing, a fresh take on his adversaries in the current scene telling in a recent interview;
“I’m booked for club shows and festivals and stuff, but I want to make music that’s a bit outside of that world. I want to make music that’s a little bit of everything.”
We’ve already posted the first single “Against a Will” – his collaboration with Lofty302 of Miami rap based art-crew Metro Zu while other features will include contributions from Baths, Kitty, and Haleek Maul.
Stream it on Pitchfork Advance here.
