With heavy support already from DJs such as Giles Peterson, Mark Pritchard, Om Unit, Machinedrum, Alix Perez, Annie Mac and Lenzman amongst many more, Stray returns for this third instalment on dBridge’s Exit Records. Splicing together fast-paced club genres on all four tunes, he’s intertwined melodic instrumental hip-hop in ‘Matchsticks’ with all-round 170 footwork in his Fracture collab in ‘Dropping Bombs’ and ‘Bounce That’, while the first tune ‘Prof Popper’ feels like his last release ‘Ginseng’ at 5am; the same syncopated riddims and cut up vocals are present but the overall vibe of the track is more laid back, with smooth pads allowing the track to float along on a mellow plane.
Check out the whole EP below and cop it on Beatport if you’re feeling! Proper footwork.
