As with pretty much every release on Adam Beyer‘s Drumcode imprint, Sam Paganini‘s ‘Black Leather’ EP showcases four tracks of throbbing techno basslines that begin subtle, and eventually enrapture into dark, 5am dancefloor killers. Following on previous 2013 releases from the likes of Joseph Capriati, Paul Ritch, Petter B, as well as the label boss’ collab with Ida Engberg, Paganini’s EP is right up there with this year’s best – twisted, dark, pulsing techno.
