Obey City Intends To Ride Dolphins During Australian Tour

Brooklyn’s Obey City is heading down to Australia to celebrate The Operatives website launch, not too bad. After a quick chat with Sam Obey himself it looks like he’s as excited about the tour as his fans are and if you can organise him a dolphin to ride into the sunset, well that’d make all his dreams come true.

Obey City is best known for his r’n’b soaked slow jams, including That Molly and his club banger, Down Up. If you’re heading down to Boney (Melbourne) this Saturday, make sure that if you’re buying young Sam a drink that you dig deep and buy him Straight Louis XIII Cognac. His good taste doesn’t stop at Cognac with Sam getting together a chart for us. Have a listen below!

Make sure to catch Obey City at Boney in Melbourne on Saturday October 12. With only 200 tickets you best get in fast.

Chits “Looking So Good”
It’s the single from Astro Nautico’s first vinyl release & a club anthem.

Kelela “Cherry Coffee”
It’s the final track off her debut mixtape and literally gave me chills the first time I listened to it.

Flatbush Zombies “TP4”
Sort of biased here because I produced this one, but I’m happy with the beat and Meech killed it. The whole mixtape is crazy.

Canblaster – “I See You”
One of my favorite current producers – this one is just pure magic on the dance floor. Its probably what I’ll be listening to while riding that dolphin.

Cid Rim – “Extended Ranges (Mike Slott Remix)”
Two geniuses in their craft combining for an epic remix. Pure beaut – you might even cry.
