The killer opener from Machinedrum‘s ‘Vapor City’ LP comes backed with the Congo Natty style skank of ‘Stirrin’ and crucial, heavyweight re-rubs of ‘Gunshotta’ by Fracture and AMIT for the ‘Gunshotta Ave.’ EP. Simply put by himself, “‘Gunshotta’ is the theme for the Gunshotta Ave. district of Vapor City. Filled with crime, paranoia and darkness, Gunshotta Ave is a street you don’t want to walk down alone.” The remixes divert the tune to opposite ends of the ‘floor; Fracture‘s Astrophonica remix gives it tighter, biting drums and darkside bass, whereas AMIT seckles it down to a lumbering halfstep roll, licked up with trippy melodica.
