Pinch‘s Tectonic Recordings is set to release Guido‘s second album ‘Moods Of Future Joy’ early next month, following on from his debut ‘Anieda’ in 2010 that was hailed as ‘one of the finest post-dubstep full-lengths yet’. Having also being described as ‘one of the most gifted composers’, Resident Advisor highlighted his adaptive musicality after completing the ‘Purple Trinity’ alliance with fellow-dons Joker and Gemmy. With the new record having been crafted over the past 18 months, Guido has continued to produce the R&B blueprints laid down in ‘Anieda’, and the first single ‘Green Eyed Monster’ – featuring Emma-Lou – openly exemplifies the reason for dubstep and R&B’s unity and shows why he’s been labelled as some who ‘arranges sound with an elegant precision, as though painting a still life’.
Have a listen below, it’s smooth and relaxing yet the vibes are endless. ‘Moods Of Future Joy’ will be out November 4 on Tectonic.
