With Meredith still around the corner, Aunty Meredith has thrown in another exciting announcement. Golden Plains is not until March next year, but withholding a headliner like Public Enemy would be an impossible feat.

They stand alone, not just in hip hop but in musical and social history. There never was and will never be another group like Public Enemy. They broke ground all over the place, scared the pants off the establishment and entertained the hell out of everyone along the way. Chuck D, Flavor Flav, Professor Griff, DJ Lord and the baNNed Bring The Noise with their legendary, nothing-like-it-on-planet-earth live show.

Golden Plains this year proved to be a veritable musical feast with an electronic lineup that made me melt. Moodymann, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Purity Ring, Flume (lol), Julio Bashmore along with Toro Y Moi and Zanzibar Chanel, whom made it a weekend to never forget.
