Field Day Release Teaser Video With Artist Clues, Here’s Who We Picked – Update: Two Confirmed

Update: Fuzzy have confirmed through their Facebook page that Julio Bashmore and London Grammar will be playing Field Day 2014. Full lineup drops Wednesday Oct 9th at 2pm.

Annual New Years Day party Field Day, run out of the beautiful Domain park in Sydney have shared a teaser video with all the good reasons to get along to what always seems to be the best day party and an ideal way to kickstart the year. They’ve also thrown in clues as to who will be playing on the 2014 line up that the Stoney Roads team have had a close look at.

Although only clocking in just under 2 minutes theres enough evidence to point to a couple of artists possibly hinted throughout the video.

Flume
His track playing through the video but is it too obvious? Big name, big sounds and has played the 2011 and 2013 years of Field Day.

TNGHT
Line in the video ‘keep the night going’, recent tourers at Fuzzys other event Listen Out. These artists tend to get double-booked for both as shown from previous years.

Rusko
‘drunk English guy wants to party’ could point to Rusko, he’s always up for a big one, he’s English and certainly likes to drink.

Joachim Garraud
The DVD cover shows the word ‘invaders’, French producer Joachim Garraud rocks a space invaders logo so this could tie in pretty well?

Zola Jesus
Juice on the table is ‘Zola’ Juice… Zola Jesus? New album landed in August, interesting choice if so but a change up in sound and direction for Field Day is never a bad thing.

London Grammar
Poster on the wall at 1:15. Playing Falls Festival and Southbound and have announced two shows in early January. Coincidence? Probably not.

Julio Bashmore
Poster on the wall at 1:21, playing both Origins NYE in Perth and Let Them Eat Cake festival in Victoria. Fuzzy last brought out Julio with T. Williams for some stand alone shows earlier in the year and has a new album dropping early 2014. Makes a lot of sense for Julio to return.

Alison Wonderland
Cameo at the tail end of the clip, usual slot at Field Day and has been earning later sets over the years due to impressive track selection and mixing plus everyone in Australia seems to love her!

On top of those we’ve got Rustie, Dusky and Shadow Child all playing or rumoured to be in territory around this time and sure bets for a festival like Field Day.

Until then we’ll have to keep guessing who’ll feature on the full lineup until it drops Wednesday 9th October. Watch the video below and see if you can pick out any others.
