Taken from Electric Rescue‘s critically acclaimed ‘Sonic Architecture’ record is their ‘Silky’ EP, and despite its soft name two out of the three tunes distill fairly rough and original techno. Although Dusty Kid has taken the beat below 120bpm for his remix of ‘Non Exchangable’, the mix is still powerful thanks to uplifting expansive atmospheric synths and deep reverb. Nonetheless, his version couldn’t be more different to the original which is an absolute banger. Similarly, the second single to be taken off the album ‘Silky’ reeks of 90s acid techno, and for those who hadn’t yet discovered their album this EP is a good way to catch up and join the dance.
