Bad day? Surely can’t be as bad as this guy as he was left suspended on the popular zip line at the UK’s premier rock festival Download Festival and ended up more as target practice for punters than the high flying adrenaline rush he was looking for.

Although the festival ran through June earlier this year, new footage uploaded shows a poor lad being pulverised by bottles, cans and even an umbrella as he was suspended ten or so metres above the crowd. Commentary from the camera man only adds more laughs as he also dodges projectiles being flung from all directions.

The fellow does take it well eventually being rescued without walking off after 90 seconds, ahem Azealia Banks in Melbourne.

This doesn’t seem to be a one off with numerous videos uploaded showing the struggles of the zip line including a knowing ‘run’ through the hailstorm of empty beverages (added below).

This years Download Festival saw Korn, Slipknot, Fidlar, Iron Maiden, Limp Bizket and Rammstein all perform.
