6 Feel Below Sound is Macabre Unit Digital boss Demon‘s imprint for a more experimental approach to electronic production, and on November 18 we’ll see his first release from it. His ‘Therapy / Frontline’ release will be a big contrast to his usual deep dubstep vibe, and on the title track a short intro eerily sweeps into fat, round kicks and low end synth work strongly reminiscent of acid techno. ‘Therapy’ shows strong progression as percussive elements shuffle and surge alongside pulsing low end, rising and falling in a weighty, downtempo dirge. The impact of ‘Frontline’ is somewhat more subtle, maintaining a more tribal drum swing but supplying equally strong bass elements and progression – a slick, rolling technoid mover.
