Italo-house and trap monster Crookers is on the attack with his latest single #GhettoGuetta and holy crap, what an explosive number!
"My idea behind making ‘Ghetto Guetta’ was to use a mainstream break, big chords against simple and effective brass and big drums."
Phra has been enjoying dropping this romper through out Europe and now Australia (check out his club chart) quoting “I played it couple of times in clubs around the world and it went down really well, so I was happy and after that I started playing it at big festivals across the summer, it went down even better, so I was even happier!”
In terms of the track title, #GhettoGuetta comes across as a cheeky smirk to the dance community that know better in mocking the whole Guetta and EDM movement and a return to just smutty lose your inhibition bangors.
The release will be out on Ciao Records (October 22nd) internationally and Skrillex’s OWSLA label for the US later this month.
