Going from 87 to 116, Smooth‘s latest single on mammoth label Viper Recordings continues to solidify his position as one of the leading dnb producers, following on from 2009 when his debut on the label ‘Acts of Mad Men’ LP copped Zane Lowe’s “album of the week” title. Straight off the back of of the first album single, ‘Virgo Cluster’, Smooth’s trademark sound is showcased on the soothing, soulful sounds of ‘The Sky’s Gonna Break’.
