Julio Bashmore Announces Debut Album, Shares Single Feat Jessie Ware

Julio Bashmore has announced a debut yet-to-be-named album set to drop sometime in 2014 through his own imprint Broadwalk Records, with the first tease a single featuring none other than electronic-pop lady Jessie Ware – a favour none the less for his work behind her 2012 debut ‘Devotion’ and more recent single “Imagine It Was Us”.

Although fans weren’t so happy with his last offering “Duccy” which will probably appear on the forthcoming record regardless, the follow up “Peppermint” is a slightly more Julio jam with choppy vocals and a ton of hats although still seems to lack that real oomph that kicked off his career – let’s just say we enjoyed his Boiler Room set a little more from earlier this year.

Julio Bashmore is set to appear at Perth based Origins NYE festival alongside Dusky, Rustie and more and will certainly feature at other New Years parties around Australia (hint: Field Day, Let Them Eat Cake).
