Following on from Hysterics‘ ‘Club Constructions Vol. 5‘ and Helix‘s ‘Vol. 4‘ before that, L-Vis 1990 and Bok Bok‘s Night Slugs imprint has continued on its excellent series with ‘Vol. 6’ coming from the London-based Jam City. ‘500 Years’ is an instant stand-out, poised for dancefloor destruction along with tune #1 ‘Worst Illusion’, treading a line between dancefloor accessibility and radical headphone music. Perhaps not as hard-hitting as its two previous volumes, Jam City’s ‘Club Constructions Vol. 6’ is still massive, bringing on that left-field underground vibe for an October 1 release.
