Insomniac CEO Dismissed From Bribery Charges

Insomniac owner Pasquale Rotella has been dismissed of embezzlement charges relating back to a $1.8 million under the table payment to ex-LA Coliseum events manager Todd DeStafno. The payment was reportedly done in exchange for ease of access to use the public Los Angeles’ grounds for events. (Sports Arena & Coliseum)  This comes as a huge relief for the CEO who has married Playboy Bunny Holly Madison and had their first child.

Rotella’s attorney, Gary Jay Kaufman, has issued the following statement regarding the case:

“We are extremely pleased with the Court’s ruling this morning. The ruling confirms what we’ve maintained from day one – that Mr. Rotella didn’t steal a penny from the Coliseum – he paid money. Now almost two years since the beginning of this investigation, two civil judges and one criminal judge have come to this same conclusion. Today’s ruling is a giant step toward what we expect to be a full and complete exoneration of Mr. Rotella.”

This now pleasingly leaves Rotella to concentrate his efforts on the planned expansion of EDC becoming a two weekend event in 2014!
