Hook N Sling’s New Video Fulfils Our Year 5 Science Class Fantasy

Woah! Hook N Sling and his crew have approved an awesome video shot by the legendary NY directing crew, Pomp & Clout (previous videos for A-Trak, Robyn, Major Lazer), to go alongside their equally energetic single “Magnet“.

The song is built to create a gripping festival fare and entails some impressive footage showcasing the power of magnets (duh). Watch as some pretty nifty experiments you could have only dreamed of doing in science class in year 5 go down. Filmed at 240 frames per second, the footage captures various types of magnets (including neodymium magnets and a home-made electromagnet) with iron filings, ferro fluid, non-Newtonian fluid all aflutter, and N02-effected flowers shattering and colliding to create some strangely beautiful impacts.

It’s not so often that you see a video that enhances the listening of a song so well.
