Flume and Chet Faker: Collaboration EP Imminent

Flume and Chet Faker

Flume has emphatically announced an exciting EP collaboration between himself and fellow electronic producer and vocalist Chet Faker. In an interview with themusic.com.au Harley Streten expressed his anticipation for the unique release saying “I’m really, really psyched to get that out. I think it’s really strong.”

The Sydney based Streten, who is set to offer his fans a deluxe edition of his chart topping debut album spoke about the collaboration in detail saying:

“(The) record doesn’t sound particularly like Flume or specifically like, you know, a Chet Faker record. It really is kinda like a hybrid of both sounds going to one and I feel like everything we did with that EP, it was just totally… Everything was collaborative about the whole effort, and I think that shines through.”

This is the first time the duo have worked with each other since Faker’s appearance on Flume’s album for ‘Left Alone’ and another notch for Australian Electronic Music as praised by the Future Classic producer earlier this month.

Who’s just a tad curious to hear what this will be like? I know we are! You’ll be able to catch Chet Faker at this years Falls Festival and WA’s Southbound.
