Scottish bossman and World Record holder Calvin Harris has been scrutinised during a live set at Miami nightclub LIV over the weekend with some heated words being exchanged.

The misguided fan proceeded to call Harris a ‘sell-out’ and demanded that he ‘play something original’, apparently unbeknown to the fact that he had just done so. Calvin politely turned off the music, grabbed the mic and invited the dissatisfied ‘fan’ to a conversation.

The heckler was the back-end of some quality banter, with Calvin responding:

“Why do you come to a fucking Calvin Harris show where Calvin Harris is DJing and don’t want to hear a fucking Calvin Harris record you dumb fucking bitch.”

However according to the fan who recorded the video; “He got defeated. It happened not even a half hour into his set, so for the rest of it, he barely moved around no expression or smile. [He] didn’t speak in the mic or make eye contact with anyone and I’m pretty sure he played a new vocal track and said nothing. Bitch killed his vibe.”

She was thrown out of the venue as you would expect after calling out a headline act, yet it’s hard to look past the irony of the situation with Calvin recently being listed Forbes highest paid DJ of 2013 claiming to not be a sellout. You be the judge.

Long story short – if you dont want to hear Calvin Harris, don’t go to one of his gigs.
