Stoney Roads went along with Volume One producers Blaze Tripp, Cosmo’s Midnight, L D R U and Moonbase Commander to Australia’s Red Bull HQ and put together a visual insight into the personalities behind the producers and their tracks.
Aiming to shine a light on the individuals behind the music, friendly giant Blaze Tripp manages to completely belie his awesome, menacing height, and is just as unique as his music in his chilled, no-fuss demeanour. Equally as cool duo Cosmo and Patrick make up Cosmo’s Midnight, the epitome of Sydney’s inner west, the pair have been making electronic for the last 3 years and are super breezy in spite of their growing attention.
Moonbase Commander, otherwise known as Nicholas B. Luke, showed us an enigmatic personality in his shots, alluding to an identity that’s pretty contemplative in nature, and not surprising considering the waves he’s making in the electronic scene, while L D R U gave us some laid back shots hanging around in the sun, conveying a personality that’s representative of his smooth synths and chilled vibes.
Stoney Roads Volume One is made up of eight artists vested in the future of Australian dance music, focused on making it a globally recognised institution.
