Drumsound & Bassline Smith‘s Technique Recordings has now officially released the highly anticipated Supernova EP from Spectrem, a four-track release covering aspects of that liquid sound as well as the heavier grind. From pure soul and atmosphere in ‘Minds Eye’ and ‘Trust’ to grit and toughness in ‘Supernova’ and ‘Catch Me If You Can’, it demonstrates the overall musicality of the Perth-born producer and shows his ability to please any ears. As you might know I’m not the biggest dnb fan but this one is 10/10; guest appearances from Beckon and Spillage for lyrical work contribute for awesome additions. Recommended!
