Mark November 8 on the calendar because French singer/songwriter, producer and Eurovision contestant Sébastien Tellier has announced he will be releasing his new album ‘Confection’!

Collaborating with Cassius’ Philippe Zdar and Phoenix’s Robin Couder, the album follows the 2012 release of  ‘My God is Blue’. Produced by Ed Banger ally Mr. Flash, Blue showcased some of the most prodigious and alluring music to have come out of that group for years, meaning ‘Confection’ sounds promising.

This time last year we chatted with the quirky Frenchman who touched on ‘Alliance Bleu’ a sort of community intent on building an amusement park for adults (no joke here folks);

One of the goals of the Alliance is to build an amusement park for adults because we need to have fun as an adult. Now, we can spend money and shop, not have fun, you can go to the beach, not so fun, you can go swimming, not so fun… So I want to create a freedom place, something new, a little heaven on earth.

Record Makers, who previously released  Tellier’s ‘L’Incroyable Vérité’, ‘Universe’ and ‘Sexuality’, will be releasing the album and have characterised it as being largely instrumental, like a movie soundtrack of sorts.
