Lung will release his debut album titled Wait Less Suspense on September 9th.

Welsh producer James Ellaway debuted on Kokeshi back in 2009 with an emotive brand of drum & bass that was aligned with the Autonomic sound being pushed by Instra:mental and dBridge at the time. Since then, over releases for Deadplate, Hospital and its sublabel Med School, he’s established himself as a capable producer in that realm, switching up the tempo but keeping the aesthetic that Resident Advisor described as “lovelorn lullabies” in a review last year.

On the album, Ellaway operates at drum & bass tempo as well as everything from 100 to 140 BPM, with a press release describing the LP as an “immersive world of delicate soundscapes [and] hazy beats.” The album features spots from vocalist Rachel K Collier (who has worked with Lung in the past), duo Paper Aeroplanes, dubstep producer Phaeleh, Ukrainian drum & bass artist Sunchase and Tiiu, who previously appeared on a track by Helsinki dubstep outfit Clouds.
