Grimes gives no fucks in her latest and greatest troll on Boiler Room putting her middle finger up in the air to the DJ establishment with the cheesiest set ever to be aired on the online streaming set service (that or Sigur Ros’ effort).

The Canadian experimental singer took the opening set at a Richie Hawtin hosted Boiler Room stream from his digs in Ibizia surrounding his residency at Space.

Warming things up for an all star line up of Nina Kraviz, Azari & III in DJ mode and Richie himself, Grimes took to the decks to throw down obvious classics Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” the Vengaboys “We Like To Party” and other hits including Taylor Swift and Skrillex. Classic!

The fans reactions were mixed with some seeing the humour and others being disgusted. Favourite comments we saw included “Grimes is by far my favourite human today. #brtv”, “I love Grimes but this music selection is bloody awful… #brtv #PoolParty” and “Grimes in the back dancing weird to richie hawtin #brtv”
