It’s been impossible to avoid Flume ‘mania’ for the last twelve months as the Northern Beaches upstart has made inroads into popular culture headlining festivals both here and abroad. More recently 16 year old New Zealand sensation Lorde has been making waves for her unique brand of pop that even led to a stack of play on youth radio station Triple J and even a late appearance at this years Splendour in the Grass in place of Frank Ocean, who cancelled due to health issues.
The bombshell, today, was the two exchanging what was probably a sly marketing ploy that the two should work on some music together. Flume reached out and in a rather cutesy manner Lorde responded that the pair would/should be making some ‘bangerz!’
“@flumemusic: Hey @lordemusic I got your message from @coupdemain , great idea, lets write some music together ??” bangerzzz

Better yet comes word that Perth beatmaker Ta-Ku, who off the back of some wild remixes for Strange Talk, The Presets and Hermitude will play his hand at re-working the young songstress.
About to remix the hell out of @lordemusic
