Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter has taken some time out with Spotify to create a playlist chocka block full of classics. The theme of Bangalter’s playlist quite obviously honours the various collaborators on their latest album ‘Random Access Memories’. The duo have been in the spot light after a rare appearance at the MTV VMA Awards held in Brooklyn NY.

The list of songs includes Chic, The Strokes, Animal Collective, Giorgio Moroder, Chilly Gonzales, N.E.R.D., and Paul Williams with other artists including Carly Simon, Sister Sledge, Diana Ross and The Strokes. The once electronic artist Bangalter has truly grown out of the contemporary dance music shell, ditching the trend and giving classic funk vibes the dominance in this playlist.
