Stereosonic Tackling Fake Ticket Racket

Stereosonic brand manager John Curtin has put out a warning call to patrons buying ‘industry’ tickets on popular bidding and selling websites.

The fake tickets that have been detected on Ebay and Gumtree prior to the general sale on August 1st at 9am.

The tickets have been listed as ‘Hard Copy Industry’ ones with those who fall for the scam not looking at a very good outcome. “We have registered tickets and our industry tickets are impossible to counterfeit”.

Totem Onelove’s ongoing battle with the black market continues to ensure fans don’t get disappointed when turning up to the gate. “We are constantly searching and reporting on online selling sites,” he said, adding that the festival had safeguards in place to verify fake tickets.

The final advice being: “If something is too good to be true, it often is, eg. there is a seller selling tickets to our show for $70 on Gumtree, it is one of the hottest tickets in town so we find that hard to believe.”

Our advice: Be patient and buy online at 9am on August 1st to save any tears!
