Moby releasing album with tonnes of collaborations

Electronic and pop music icon Moby is back in the depths of what he does best via his new album title ‘Innocent’

The 1990’s breakthrough producer who coined the name Moby through his ancestral relationship to Moby Dick author Herman Melville spoke about how he found this albums creative process unique to previous albums:

“I spend most of my time alone in my studio, so for Innocents it seemed like a really nice idea to involve other people in the making of the record. Working with all of these collaborators has helped me to make a record that I’m very proud of, and working this way also gave me some semblance of a social life..”

The collaboration list is quite incredible with the likes of
– Mark “Spike” Stent, whose worked alongside Madonna, U2, Muse, Björk, and Massive Attack
– Wayne Coyne (The Flaming Lips), alt-rock legend Mark Lanegan, Cold Specks, Skylar Grey – best known for co-writing and performing on Eminem and Rihanna’s Love The Way You Lie
– Indie-folk singer Damien Jurado
– Inyang Bassey who was the vocalist on The Right Thing from Destroyed. He has named them the Innocents.

For now, we wait until September 27th 2013 when Australia and the world will be graced with some melodic surprises from what has been rumoured to be quite a analogue and lo-fi production. Intriguing!
