Sydney bro Flume has taken a break from his usual euphonic slow jams to do a remix for the latest Verve Remixed compilation ‘The First Ladies’.

The quality of remixers on ‘The First Ladies’ is amazing. Maya Jane Coles, Azari and III and Toro Y Moi are just a few of the artists to feature on the compilation. Flume’s Jackin House Mix of Marlena Shaw’s ‘Woman in the Ghetto’ is a cool changeup from his usual and much loved style of chilled out electronica/hip-hop. Quick and punchy kicks, hats and snares combined with some signature Flume sounds make for a really tight classic house track.
