Techy, driving house rollers with D&B influence from Bristol’s Kieran Lomax, fka Komonazmuk, now aka Komon. This is the next big release on Will Saul’s Aus Music imprint this year after releases from the likes of Dusky, Leon Vynehall, Glimpse, Midland and Bicep and whilst operating at a house tempo, the robust, insistent production and structures of both grooves borrow much from the late ’90s D&B template, resulting the brooding swagger of bulging subs and ghostly diva voices in Walk on the A-side, and a crafty dash of hyno-trance arpeggios infused with the natty bass hook, Tech Itch-like vocal stabs and hard-bodied drums of Poly Sum.
