Evolutionary ‘synth discovery’ game to take on music production DAW’s Ableton and Logic.

FRACT OSC is innovating the music making scene by flipping what is considered the normal process of making a contemporary song on it’s head.

Picture this: You walk into a room, you discover a sound while walking past a luminated pillar and take it back to your matrix style digital work station to tweak and add to your developing track.

That’s right, in this video game, the player is encouraged to dig deep into an abstract ‘Tron’ style world built on sound and structures inspired by electronic music.

The main mission is to resurrect and revive the long forgotten machinery of this musical world and piece it together for what is a creative journey in a “virtually” literal sense.

So when can you start gaming? FRACT OSC is still in Beta testing, however the preview below will have you and other ‘Digital Area Workstation’ companies like Ableton, Logic and Reason watching on very curiously.
