Dirtybird head honcho Claude Vonstroke has announced a new album.

The new LP is set to be titled Urban Animal with the San Francisco based producer releasing two preview tracks alongside the news to wet fans appetites.

The first song titled “Can’t Wait” is a low frequency tech chiller full of Vonstroke’s signature dance driven undertone. You could relax to this or alternatively go mental which is kind of weird.

A second jam, “The Clapping Track” is a percussion heavy number that uses an element of the obscurity through a general clapping sample (duh). It kind of reminds me of his early hits like ‘The Whistler’ or ‘Deep Through’ which are inspired by something you sense he has observed in an everyday activity and thought, ‘hey i’m going to include that noise in a song!’.

What can we expect from the other tracks; “emblematic of the qualities VonStroke has built his label’s reputation around; at times playful, at others tough and stoic, yet always underpinned by an attitude that is one of dance music’s most singular”.

The first single “Can’t Wait” will land August 6th, with the full release released September 17th.
