Without so much as a blip on anyone’s radar, Beatport, the global digital music store for everyone from bedroom DJs to festival circuit producers has added the recently bubbling trap genre.

Does this make it official? Is the genre finally standard fodder among other well known sounds, be it deep house to trance to techno.
