Baauer Heads Back To Court…

Baauer heads back to court to face more legal action.

Looks like Baauer is facing more legal trouble following the sampling issues from his world conquering track “Harlem Shake” (that actually stopped Mad Decent from bankruptcy).

This time the American producer is being sued for the misuse of commissioned snaps by photographer Dustin Kessler (here).

TMZ reports that the producer, real name Henry Baauer was involved in a photo shoot sometime last year and requested permission for the use of two images – one was to be used as Baauers Facebook page display picture, the other for use in a magazine article.

The result were the images being used far wider than the original agreement with the pics surfacing on Billboard, SPIN and more (not that hard to ‘save as’ folks).

Dustin is seeking unspecified damages directly from the DJ as well as any publications that used the images without permission.
