Anjunadeep 5 has made a surprising US debut in the iTunes Dance Chart.

Beating out Zedd, Tiesto and Hardwell, Anjunadeep 5 managed to topple them all to debut at number one in the US dance chart. The compilation features cuts from Dusky, Tom Middleton and Andrew Bayer and was mixed by label boss James Grant and Jody Wisternoff.

The surprising element was beating out more hardline ‘EDM’ releases that have been topping charts globally, more so than ever in the USA.

We’ve been hearing of a house resurgence stateside and this might be an early indicator that true to word, the deep rumbling basslines and grooves are earning listeners.
