Krazy Baldhead’s 5 favorite producers

In celebration of Ed Banger’s 10th anniversary compilation, we were lucky enough to get collaborative and integral member of the gang, Krazy Baldhead to talk to us in some detail about who his 5 favorite producer’s are and why.

On top of this Krazy Baldhead revealled why he was so pleased with Head Honcho Busy P’s choice of ‘My Soul Is Like A Tree’ as being the ideal song for the compilation.

Without further ado, here are Krazy Baldhead’s 5 favorite artists.

James Blake: his stuff is so incredibly personal. he’s the best combination between being a good songwriter and an amazing producer. he’s the modern days Stevie Wonder.

Jon Hopkins: i almost forgot about him until i heard his new LP. i’m always interested in stuff that is experimental but musical at the same time.

Para One: his last LP was really fresh and as always very well produced. it’s always a good feeling to hear a fellow frenchman take risks and explore new roads. i’m pretty eager to hear what Jackson And His Computer Band has in stock too.

Dorian Concept: another twisted-yet-musical producer. and a very good keyboard player too. he hasn’t released anything recently but i heard another LP is on its way, i’m looking forward.

Bibio: he’s got this immediately recognizable sound, but at the same time he never really repeats himself. to me, that’s what make good artists.

With the forthcoming compilation being released very shortly, Krazy Baldhead revealed why he was happy with Busy P’s decision to select ‘My Soul Is Like A Tree” for the CD

“i’m really happy that Pedro decided to put this track on the compilation because i’m really proud of it, but i was afraid it would be too dark. i think the title reflects a bit my personality: it has solid roots, but at the same time spreads into multiple directions. and it aims to the sky!”
