Empire of the Sun will soundtrack official Dumb and Dumber sequel.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan of Empire of the Sun or Dumb and Dumber, a recent confirmation by the movies producers that the Australian duo would be soundtracking the feature film should impress all!

Heading to Twitter the Farrelly Brothers, who wrote the original cult-followed film that was released in 1994 and who also produced Me, Myself and Irene featuring Jim Carrey told fans ‘They’ll be scoring Dumb and Dumber To’ including a link to a recent Huffinton Post review of Empire of the Suns new record ‘Ice on the Dune’

Without any further details regarding the film, other than it’s in pre-production we’d have to expect a good 12 months for the Australian duo to compose entirely new music for the feature film. Bummer man.
